I joined Microsoft at an exciting time, when they initially launched their social pages for each of their sub-brands. Working directly with the social media teams, I created a package of all the social aspects for each brand, including @Microsoft_UK, @Surface_UK, @Microsoft_SMB, @Office365. I enjoyed this aspect of the role as it meant I could use my creativity rather than stick within the lines. The social team were a great bunch and it was fun to bounce ideas off each other and work towards a final design and campaign. It was a great opportunity to get involved with seasonal campaigns and product launches as well as working real-time and keeping up with current social trends.
